How do I book a trip with Fly Goldfinch?

You can start by exploring our destinations and itineraries on the site, then reach out via the contact form, email (info@flygoldfinch.com), phone, or WhatsApp. One of our travel consultants will reply within one business day with a tailored quote, and once you approve the plan and make the booking payment, we take care of every detail — flights, hotels, visas, and on-ground experiences.

How far in advance should I book my trip?

We recommend booking at least 4 to 8 weeks in advance for most international destinations. For peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, summer holidays) or popular destinations like Japan during cherry-blossom season and Iceland in winter, 3 to 4 months ahead is ideal so we can secure the best hotels, flights, and visa slots.

Last-minute bookings are possible — we have successfully turned around fully planned trips in under two weeks — but availability and pricing can be less flexible.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI, net banking, credit and debit cards, and bank transfer. For larger bookings, we can also arrange secure direct wire transfers. All payments are processed through secure gateways; we never store your card details on our servers.

Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?

Typically no. Most bookings work on an initial confirmation deposit (usually 20 to 30 percent of the package cost) followed by the balance 30 to 45 days before departure. Some components — like fixed-departure group tours, peak-season flights, or non-refundable hotel bookings — may require full payment upfront; your consultant will always clarify the payment schedule in writing before you commit.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Full details are on our Cancellation Policy page. In summary: cancellations more than 30 days before departure get the largest refund (less non-refundable components and a processing fee); cancellations between 15 and 30 days out typically receive around 50 percent refund; within 15 days of departure, refunds are subject to the specific airline, hotel, and ground operator policies.

Visa fees, insurance premiums, and airline-imposed penalties are never refundable. We always recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations on your side.

Do you help with visa processing?

Yes — visa assistance is one of our core services for Indian passport holders. We handle documentation review, appointment booking, embassy submission, and tracking for most popular destinations including Schengen countries, Japan, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, UAE, Turkey, Singapore, and more.

Visa approval is always at the sole discretion of the respective country’s consulate, and we cannot guarantee outcomes, but our approval rate is high thanks to careful documentation and experience with the process.

What documents do I need to travel?

At minimum, a valid passport with at least six months’ validity from your date of return, plus a valid visa (if required for the destination). Some countries also require proof of onward travel, hotel bookings, travel insurance, yellow-fever vaccination (for parts of Africa and South America), or a negative COVID test depending on current rules.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Yes. We partner with leading Indian insurers to provide comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, flight delays, and adventure-activity coverage. We strongly recommend travel insurance for every international trip, especially for destinations with high medical costs (Europe, USA, Japan) and for trips involving adventure activities or winter sports.

Do you handle group bookings and MICE events?

Absolutely — it is one of our specialties. We regularly organise MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) events for corporate groups of 40 to 450 travellers across destinations like Dubai, Bali, Vietnam, Maldives, and Europe. Whether it is a team offsite, a partner summit, an incentive trip, or a milestone celebration, we handle flights, hotels, on-ground transport, event venues, curated experiences, and end-to-end coordination. What kind of support do I get during my trip?

You get a dedicated 24/7 support line for the duration of your trip. Our on-call travel desk can assist with flight rescheduling, hotel issues, local emergencies, lost documents, medical coordination, and last-minute itinerary changes. In major destinations we also have trusted local partners on the ground for in-person support.
